There were so many phrases I highlighted in red as I was typing up my notes from the worship service. The sermon talked about who we are as a church and how we can keep growing. We act as people who have worth thru Jesus. We get together with each other and help others. We know that we do not need to walk alone since we have each other. There are so many ways that our Congregational Care Ministries hold your hand to help you get through events in your life. I will say that the ministries do not give up since they are ALWAYS there for us. We really don’t give up. Galatians 6:10 – So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone.
The prayer at the end of the sermon had the words “teach us to be brave and get thru it”. And the song title Don’t Give Up had the words “somewhere there is a place we belong”. This means a lot to us. We have a church and a family where we belong. We have so many ways to learn more about living with God in our lives. We have classes and sermons that resonate with who we are and who we can be.
Yes, sometimes we get off our path. We get caught up with people sinning. Yet, we can help these people get in line, and we can get each other back in alignment. Don’t give up. We do have worth. We can get thru it. We can seek harmony within our families. Let us do good to all people – especially to others who are believers! Thank you, God!
